  • Follow up to Winter Camp from last committee meeting. The question was asked how much did we spend for lodging this year for Winter Camp 2008 for Camp Tuckahoe, Don verified that we paid $560.00 for this years winter camp.
  • Webelos I and II Philadelphia Zoo trip will take place Friday March 14th and Saturday March 15th. The cost is going to be $50.00 per person. More information to follow as we receive details.
  • Grocery shopping this Thursday, January 24th for the Pinewood Derby. We need to check the shed for some items to see what we have on hand, those items are plates, bowls, hot cups, napkins, and paper towels. We need to purchase the following: soda, water, juice bags, salad, apples or apple slices, caramel dip, hot dog rolls, hamburger rolls, chips, coffee, creamer, splenda, hot tea bags, hot chocolate packs, and coffee filters.
    • District race for Pinewood Derby will be held March 1st at Bible Baptist Church. The entrance fee is $5.00.
    • Kitchen sign-ups Stacy will go den by den to have folks sign up for a time. We really need help with the clean up.
    • Roger is looking into renting a projector for Saturdays race so the bracket can be displayed during the race.
  • Snow Tubing is rescheduled for February 4th from 7-8 pm. Please arrive by 6:30 p.m. for final head count and to make sure everyone has their money and release forms turned in.
  • Scout Sunday was rescheduled for February 10th but Pastor Galen needs to change the date. We are unsure of what date he needs to change it to. More to follow on Scout Sunday.
  • Andrew Witter- We will be taking donations for him and his family at Pinewood Derby and the pack will also be donating money. He was part of our pack last year and his home was on fire. We have also decided to donate any left over soup, chili, bar-b-que, and rolls to his family during this hard time.
  • Winter camp- Friday night is also the Washington Heights Talent Show so Mike will be finding out what time we can no longer arrive at the camp Friday night for any of those boys participation in the talent show.
    • Cabin assignments and food assignments have been set
    • It was decided that everyone will eat meals in the Castle Cabin as there will be more room.
  • Committee meetings for March have been set for March 10th and the 31st. Our next Committee meeting is February 11th. Everyone is welcome to attend. They are held at the church from 7-8 pm.
  • The pack is still in need of committee members for next year. Please see one of the current members if you are interested. The boys needs your help in order for the pack to run smoothly.
